WINDSOR, NC (WNCT) – Bertie County residents now have the choice to register their non-public video surveillance system with the Bertie County Sheriff’s Workplace.
When a digital camera is recorded, legislation enforcement can contact the individual or enterprise that owns the digital camera and have the video footage seen and/or a replica made if mandatory for prison investigation. This system doesn’t give legislation enforcement direct entry to cameras at any time.
Officers mentioned this system permits officers to shortly establish safety cameras round against the law scene and develop clues or collect proof of their investigations.
No payment is charged for the participation of district residents and companies in this system. There may be an utility type for this system. Individuals can withdraw from this system at any time.
