This yr, Black Voice Information and IE Voice showcased a group of images by photographer Aryana Noroozi, a Report for America corps member and CatchLight Native Fellow, who joined our workforce on June 1. The footage we have launched over the previous six months in partnership with CatchLight has captured the resilience and voices of the communities we serve.
This yr, Black Voice Information and IE Voice collaborated with the neighborhood to create tales that spotlight their pleasure, delight and custom, in addition to the collective resilience to social inequalities, gun violence, environmental racism and the enduring and disproportionate impression of COVID-19. . Whereas the earlier points weren’t distinctive to the Internal Empire, what’s distinctive is how this neighborhood emerged in its personal means.
