Governor Greg Abbott celebrated Hanukkah with leaders of the Jewish group immediately on the State Capitol Menorah Lighting Ceremony in Austin. On the ceremony, attended by greater than 50 individuals, the Governor lit the shamash (maid candle) of the Menorah and defined the significance of Hanukkah to the Jewish group.
